I had the privilege of attending Goring Hall as an NHS patient to have a hip replacement performed and can say that the experience was positive in every respect. The first contact was with the reception staff who were pleasant and talkative, keen I felt to put me at my ease. From there the surgeon, anesthetist, nursing staff, and physios all provided me with exemplary care. I was a little late going down to surgery but was keep informed throughout. My care lasted for 3 days before being discharged, since when my progress has been continuous. An excellent experience overall.

A hospital is only as good as its staff and everyone was delightful, so helpful and caring. The only observation I have is that the transition from bed to X-ray bed and back was the most excruciatingly painful experience I have ever had - could this be improved? Otherwise I had a 5* experience and more than happy to stay an extra night as recommended by the physio - she was so right I felt better for 1 extra sleep and stair practice.

I found all the nursing and ancillary staff exceptional. There manner was friendly, professional and polite and they exhibited the creates compassion for the duration of my stay. I would thoroughly recommend this hospital to any of my friends or family as the care I received there was indeed exemplary.

I was very impressed with the care and attention given to me. I surprised myself by feeling fairly relaxed during my visit mostly due to the aura of confidence that all staff exuded.
